I'm Dr. Helen Setyan

Dr. Helen Setyan is a board-certified physical therapist, Yoga Alliance-certified yoga instructor, and a trained Mindfulness Facilitator, through UCLA’s Mindfulness Awareness Research Center (MARC) dedicated to the practice and integration of the mind-body systems approach to addressing pain, wellness, prevention and recovery of functional limitations.

Helen obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Southern California (USC) Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism in 2006 and received her Physical Therapy Doctorate degree from Mount St. Mary’s College (MSMC) in 2010.

Her specialities include pain and movement science, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and manual interventions including but not limited to Craniosacral Therapy and Myofascial Release.

She was born to classical musicians and has developed her own sense of self expression through her love for music, the arts, dancing, writing and many forms of contemplative practices including over 12 years of meditation practice in the Vipassana tradition.

Helen Setyan extends her personal passions, clinical skills and expertise through multiple rehabilitation, wellness and meditation collectives, speaking engagements, and community outreach, including UCLA and other health and wellness initiatives throughout Los Angeles, California.

Janet (Bayramyan) Generales, LCSW

Janet (Bayramyan) Generales is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in the states of California and Florida. She is a trauma-informed EMDR certified psychotherapist, also trained in Attachment Focused EMDR, the Havening Techniques, and other trauma modalities. Using the lens of EMDR, she helps clients understand and process the impact of trauma and move through states of protection and connection in their nervous system to establish an embodied sense of safety.

Thomas Davis IV, Contemplative Artist. Founder of Avant Dharma

Thomas is a Mindfulness and Life Teacher that has devoted over 25 years of study, practice and service within progressive spiritual communities including: Buddhist, Christian and essential community-based institutions in Northern and Southern California. Now Founder and creator of avant dharma, a learning modality inspired from the merging of Avant-Garde Jazz philosophy and Traditional Mindfulness practices. The merging of these formidable traditions provides greater space and capacity for individuals to identify, cultivate and discover unique means of expression for their Authentic Selves.

Mckenna Anderson, PT. Founder of Aligning Touch PT and Myofascial Release

With over 12 years of experience working in an outpatient neurological and Orthopedic physical therapy setting she loves the art of Physical Therapy & Myofascial Release. Her unique style of treatment combines the traditional art of physical therapy with subtle energy work, aromatherapy, sound healing, breath work, charka balancing and myofascial release.

Anna Marie Douglas, MPH, MSN, RN, FNP-C

Anna Maria is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a Masters in Lifestyle Medicine. She is a former Nurse Corps Naval Officer, and has over a decade of experience in health care within a variety of settings, including community health, family medicine, aesthetics, endocrinology, occupational health, and weight loss management. She is licensed in California, Colorado and Florida offering a personable and holistic model of care.
